The Syndromic Management of STIs in Jamaica

This course provides an orientation to the Practical Management of Common STI Syndromes (2020) guidelines produced by the Ministry of Health and Wellness in Jamaica. The course is designed to introduce practitioners to the guideline document and syndromic approach to STI case management by providing structured, case-based practice applying the algorithms outlined in the document. Participants will need to have a copy of the Jamaica MOHW Practical Management of Common STI Syndromes (2020) document as well as the associated checklists and forms to refer to and use while they are watching the videos and participating in the online learning activities. PDF copies of these materials are provided.

Primary Audience: This course is primarily designed for healthcare professionals involved in HIV treatment, care, and support. It is suitable for clinicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses.
